    <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;img align="left" src="http://h30507.www3.hp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/6919i8F12D34BF46705C0/image-size/small?v=mpbl-1&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" title="Dancers.jpg" alt="Dancers.jpg"&gt;We provide tons of reasons, explanations, even pleas, to partner with an applications services provder.  But, really, isn't it better to ask those who did?  What exactly did they get out of it?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It seems many of our services clients are a bit reluctant to participate in case studies or testimonials.  Even though every single one of you asks for those when we're talking with you! :smileywink:  I'm not sure why, but I think in general people are relucant to talk publically about the fact that they needed or wanted help.  Even as it helps them through difficult times and challenging situations.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anyways ... we had three customers recently agree to make statements in the press.  An &lt;a href="http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press/2011/111011xa.html?mtxs=rss-corp-news" target="_self"&gt;HP press release&lt;/a&gt;, to be specific.  These included US Airways, The Polish Agriculture Restructuring and Modernization Agency, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  We also named some other recent clients who decided to partner with us.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The U.S. Airways project is quite interesting as the work involved not only the management of their applications, but also leading the integration of their reservation system with America West's after their merger.  A major integration project in its own right as well as running one of their most mission critical applications.  Talk about working on the airplane while it's flying!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In Poland, their CIO talks about how it frees up their organization to focus on their clients as HP helps them with their applications.  Freeing up resources, to better service your customers, or to shift resources into innovation ... we do that for many clients.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For HUD, it's about agility. In their case, being able to quickly and effectively implmenet program and regulatory changes. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Where do you need some help? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;p.s. I will be attending Gartner Symposium in Orlando next week (10/17) with several of my applications services colleagues. Come by and visit - I'll be around the HP exhibit area when not attending sessions.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
