Does Mobility Work? HP’s SAP Mobility Services Say YES! Visit the teams at SAP Sapphire NOW in May!

I recently caught a YouTube video that discussed mobility. The commentator’s tag line was (paraphrasing) “…from wherever they are; whenever they want.” I’d heard the hype before, butcell phone.jpg this notion really got me thinking.  Are there benefits for companies who have chosen SAP to becoming mobile?  It’s a nice notion, but really, with the incredible capabilities of SAP applications location seems to be a non-issue.  But, there’s a LOT of conversation about mobility out there. So what is the deal?

 

If you’re heading to the annual SAP Sapphire NOW and ASUG conference in Orlando this May, I’d encourage you to drop by the HP booth (#1700) to ask our subject matter experts for their opinion.  For me, being an HP employee, asking some questions about mobility for SAP users requires a short walk down the hallway. I suspect many of you with questions about mobility would like to have this ability; a sort of “experts on tap” arrangement.  That’s what’s so great about Sapphire. It gives all of us “face time”, as my kids call it. It’s the opportunity for folks to shake hands; to make new acquaintances, and to begin a dialogue about SAP applications and mobility that may challenge your notions of Mobility for SAP applications.

 

So, any nuggets of gold, some “food for thought” you ask?  Would I leave you hanging? Here are a few (of many) data points our SAP practice teams would have you consider:
