If you made it to the SAP SapphireNOW/ASUG convention in Orlando no doubt you'll recall the variety of presentations our HP teams gave on the variety of SAP topics such as Cloud Services for SAP, SAP HANA, and Mobility for SAP solutions. And those presentations were so good you may be tempted to thinkMP900422116.JPG “that was it for this year” don’t! We've got a lot more to tell you about!  So mark your calendar, get your tickets and join us for more of our expert SAP sessions at this year’s HP Discover conference. Dig in and continue the conversations that you began at SAP Sapphire. Extend your thinking and challenge the possibilities that your SAP environment can provide to your compnay. Plan on attending any number of HP SAP sessions and dialogue with our teams. Meet new acquaintances and renew recently made friendships with us! 

 

Becuase of travel or distance or any number of other reasons, some of you have become accustom to following us on line - since I'm writing this on line I think that's great! - So, if you're doing so, you can probably see that we’re building on the SAP topics we presented at Sapphire with even more sessions. Building the foundation for disruptive change: Value-driven roadmaps for the “Business of IT”

Session Description:

Disruptive technologies such as cloud and mobile computing are revolutionizing the ubiquity of IT, yet many companies are not able to leverage all the opportunities they offer. Many enterprises have still not evolved their application development and –operations capabilities into a standardized and tools-enabled framework. Standardized processes simplify execution, yield fewer errors, and empower staff to focus on innovative efforts and less on repetitive tasks. While this vision is compelling, why are so few companies able to reach it? The SAP Mobile Enterprise Application Platform – optimizing mobile applications connected to corporate systems

Session Description:

This technical session will discuss the SAP SUP methods and technologies available to connect mobile applications back to corporate systems and business processes.  We will discuss the mobilization of existing applications, remote application connectors and integrating mobile clients into back-end systems.  The discussion will highlight HP’s Enterprise Mobility Services for SAP Applications.

Before I forget, HP Discover 2012 is also an excellent opportunity to learn more about our SAP Benchmarking record; to discuss Run SAP implementation with members of the teams who were the 2012 Run SAP Partner of the Year Pinnacle Award winners; and meet various team members of our SAP Pinnacle Award finalists for “Global Technology Partner” & “Global Software Solution Partner” of the year awards.

  • Benjamin Romberg has over twenty five years experience in the IT industry, the last twelve of which have been as a testing professional. He has experience as a test analyst, performance tester, automation specialist, test lead, test manager, test consultant and test executive. He has worked on all types of testing engagements ranging from small web based applications through to core system upgrades. Benjamin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Genetics, a Post Graduate Degree in Software Engineering and an Executive Masters in Business Administration.
