HP Discover day 3: more to come on cloud and mobility

By:  Francisco Fernandes, Solution Architect, Hewlett Packard Company (Brazil)

With day 3 starting, I´d like first to mention some great announcements from yesterday:  HP announced HP Cloud Services functionality and services built on OpenStack technology. With this development, enterprises can run enterprise-grade applications in the public cloud. HP Autonomy announced the Autonomy Marketing Cloud, a set of marketing optimization products that can help organizations increase market share, optimize marketing spend and increase revenue across all channels. More information on the announcement has been posted on HP’s website.

Today, on Day 3, we have a full agenda of presentations on Cloud and Mobility:

  •  A new track for IT: Transforming business with a hybrid cloud delivery strategy, presented at 9:30 by Saar Gillai at the Palazzo M.
  • Empowering the mobile workforce: BYOD and beyond at 2PM at the Palazzo I
  • Creating a secure, cloud-based management platform for employee mobility at 12:30PM at Lando 4306
  • Mobile Security: Myth versus reality and guidance to get It right at 11:00 at Veronese 2504
  • Mary Kay China is creating powerful customer experiences using mobile apps at 9:30AM at Venetian Ballroom C
  • Enabling the mobile enterprise at 9:30AM at San Paolo 3406
  • Accelerating the time-to-value for enterprise mobility initiatives at 2PM at San Paolo 3406

I will be speaking at the ES Guru Bar at 11 AM about how Mobility can drive apps transformation. Bryan Coapstick will also talk about why Mobility must be viewed as a Business Problem, not just a technology issue at 2:40PM.

See you there!
