Moving to Cloud Business Services

userexperience.JPGResearch from Coleman Parks suggests that about 3/4 of all IT delivery will happen out of a cloud, either private, managed or public. While virtualisation has progressed, making a shift towards IaaS feasible, a lot of applications are still not ready to be deployed into a cloud and reap the benefits, like reusability, standardisation, pay-per-use and automation.

At HP Discover in Barcelona we are exploring ways on how to transformation applications to make them capable of using cloud infrastructure in an optimal way. Here is a list of today's sessions:

  • 9:00 Irene Dudgeon - Why is a compelling user experience essential?
  • 9:50 Traci Terterian - How do you design a compelling user experience?
  • 9:50 Jawad Rabi - Legacy platforms : when it makes sense to migrate
  • 9:50 Christian Verstraete and Daniel Amor -  How to prepare your journey to the cloud
  • 10:40 Traci Terterian - How can we help you to design an engaging app?
  • 11:30 Annette Klimczak and Richard Buckley - Does your customer experience start with an app?
  • 12:20 John Jeremiah and Enda Curran - Design and develop great mobile apps
  • 13:10 John Jeremiah and Enda Curran -Deliver secure and high quality mobile apps
  • 16:30 Paul Evans - Bridging the gap - apps that bring the CIO and the CMO together

In addition we will have the keynotes of HP Software and HP Enterprise services. So a lot to be missed if you can't make it to HP Discover, but you will find the replays on the VIrtual HP Discover web site after the event.
