What do you mean, transformation success depends on more than just my technical skills?

The New Style of IT is driving many organizations to execute or contemplate applications transformation.  It has stirred the minds of business leaders and the technologies are fun for IT.  That journey is not necessarily easy.  IT necessitates changes in enterprise architecture, governance, technology and applications portfolios and strategies, people and processes.  It’s both challenging and fun.

But along the journey, there will be many pitfalls - we call them "sins."  These can be sins of omission or commission.  Many are not related to technical or project skills, but rather in management and governance.  Sometimes they’re part of the environment.  If you can’t resolve them, it makes success more challenging.

In this video, HP’s Jonathan Dove and Sean O’Leary share their client experiences and discuss the seven deadly "sins" that can severely damage your opportunity for success with Applications Transformation.
