Application Profiling and a Well-defined Service Catalog are the Keys to Outsourcing Utopia? YES!

Something happened on the way to the outsourcing utopia you always dreamed about. The savings you question mark_bubble.jpgexpected have not materialized. What your staff had routinely been delivering, the provider now claims is not in scope and keeps sending additional invoices. You think you are right and the provider thinks they are right…delivering as per the contract you both agreed upon. So, what happened?? Where did it go wrong??

 

It all boils down to mismatched expectations and lack of clarity in contracting.  A strategy that consists of application profiling and well-defined services catalog can provide a solid foundation from which you can build an applications outsourcing agreement.
