367 Addison Avenue - that's the address of the famous garage in Palo Alto, California where Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard founded HP.  367 Addison is also the name of our small and midsize business (SMB) focused blog.  I was asked to join it and provide a regular blog post focused on storage and SMBs.

To date, I've contributed two blog posts to 367 Addison.  Since I just posted one this past week, I thought I'd do a quick summary of each post and give you a link to read them.

  • Unlocking storage capactiy to gain effeciency   This post looks at how you can transform unused capacity into a fully featured shared storage array—without the cost and complexity associated with dedicated storage. And I'll give you a hint - I talk about HP StoreVirtual VSA.
  • In HP Storage Options Deliver Increased Productivity  I talked about some of the most pressing challenges that SMBs face and our Simply StoreIT program that is focused on delivering solutions to address those challenges in the most cost-effective and productive way possible.

I'm happy to be contributing to the 367 Addison blog so take a few minutes and check out these posts.

Lastly, I want to remind you that I'll be attending Nth Symposium next week - it's a great event that I always enjoy because it's a great place to gather content for ATSB.  I have a blog post from two weeks ago where I talked about some of the big trends in IT with Nth Generation CTO Dan Molina.  It was a really good discussion with Dan and the podcast I did with him is worth a listen.
