A few weeks ago I was asked by someone inside HP if I wanted to co-sponsor a Tweetup at the VMware Partner Exchange (PEX) conference in Las Vegas February 12-16.  Since many of my Tweeps (i.e. followers on Twitter) are VMware focused, I thought this was a great idea.  Unfortunately with Valentines Day, VMware couldn't find a place to host it at the Venetian where the event is located.

In stepped my friend and colleague Eric Siebert - with an offer to find some place close where we could still have a VMware PEX Tweetup.  Eric came through!  He found Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville just a short walk away from the event hotel where we'll host the "VMware PEX Unofficial official Community Tweetup".

We can host up to a 150 people and we'll do that on a "first come/first serve" basis.  Here's the URL where you can register: http://twtvite.com/o6w3oq

So if you're headed to VMware PEX and want to hang out with your VMware-focused friends, have a few drinks, with Cheeseburgers in Paradise - register now!  This is the first and probably last time I host a party this big.

And if you're an HP Partner, did you sign up for our HP Boot Camp that starts at 9 AM on the same day?  Here's a page where you can learn more about the HP Boot Camp at VMware PEX - both Eric and I will be there.

If you're coming to PEX, let me know - its always a great time for me to connect with people who read the blog.   I'll have more to say about PEX in the coming days.
