Cloud bursting demo from VMworld

While at VMworld last week, I didn't get as much video as I thought I would.  One video I did get was a discussion that Nick Van Der Zweep (Director of Business Strategy) lead talking about HP CloudSystem and cloud bursting.  I've seen Nick give a demo of CloudSystem Matrix a few times where he shows setting up a service catalog.  He showed it at VMworld but also showed how it can be used in a hybrid cloud infrastructure, leveraging public cloud to deliver a service.

Here's the clip showing Nick creating a two tier service for a hypothetical advertising campaign:

As you can see, CloudSystem Matrix simplifies the "self-service" deployment of cloud based services.  Here are a few links where you can dig deeper:

I've said before that I didn't jump onto the early cloud bandwagon because I didn't want to get caught up in hype (made that mistake with other technologies in the past) - but I have no doubt that the cloud computing is changing IT and business. What do you think?
