Last Friday afternoon, my HP social media colleague and friend Marc Farley said this on Twitter: It is with some sadness and a lot of excitement that I tell you today is my last day at HP. The best run of my career. Thanks all !

Marc had called me the week before to say that he had turned down a job offer - he told me that he really liked his gig at HP and things were really good.  I breathed a sigh of relief.  He called me back a few days later to say that StorSimple made him another offer and he took it.  I couldn't imagine what the folks at StorSimple had done to change Marc's mind - well, I could image and it looked a bit like this:

I asked Marc to do a podcast with me because I wanted to let him talk a bit about what he's decide but also so he could talk about his time in HP Storage.  Here's my podcast with Marc:

You can download this podcast by doing a right-click and "Save as" here OR you can download all of my podcasts from iTunes by clicking here - it will open iTunes and allow you to download all of my recent podcasts.  If you have any issues with this second link, paste this into your browser: itpc://recordings.talkshoe.com/rss69339.xml.   "itpc" is a special format that opens iTunes and lets you download the podcasts from iTunes.

Marc already has a new blog - you can find it at www.dataontop.com.  All the best Marc!

LOL - I'm guessing they didn't have to do that!  Haven't talked in a while - I hope you are well Dave.
