I tend to focus on our disk-based products with a sprinkling of tape now and then - so thought it was high time to talk about the HP B-Series switches and directors.  To help me do that, I talked with AJ Casamento from Brocade.  As you might guess, "B-Series" means they are products we OEM from Brocade.

Hope you cover the qlogic end as well! I know brocade is bigger and more scalable with their directors and stuff but qlogic is *soo* much easier to manage for me. So I opt to use it in my environments(and I don't even stack them - yet at least I'm not a big fan of stacking).

If B-series stands for brocade, the HP OEM H-series comes from Qlogic, what does H mean there?

Also note that a lot of the new converged stuff in the HP blades comes from qlogic technology too!

Nate - I have a couple of blogs talking about the SN6000, which is from our H-Series so I'm certainly shown that product love.  You can find them with this link.  Also, H-Series means it's an HP solution.  It's a mix of products developed with Q-Logic and HP.
