We've wrapped up our HP Storage Tech Day and I have PHPTDB - Post HP Tech Day Blues!  Actually, I'm enjoying the weekend in Southern California with my family and about to head to Chuck's in Belmont Shores where we love to have breakfast on the beach.

Before we head off to Chuck's, I wanted to point you to a few of the blog posts from our guest bloggers.  So let me jump right in!

A few tweets

Lastly, I wanted to share a few tweets from our guest bloggers.  I think there were several hundred but I wanted to highlight a few of them:

  • @ninabuik: HP Storage strat:give ALL orgs access to tier 1 capabilities: persistent ports-priority opt-async streaming replication-max limits #HPTechday
  • @activewin: Flash enables new possibilities and breaks old designs. 500% more transactions per second on 90% fewer disks! #HPTechDay #BusinessValue
  • @gallifreyan: The #3PAR ASIC has been impressive asset since first shipping boxes. Offload workloads from controller CPUs makes big difference. #hptechday
  • @RayLucchesi: 3PAR ASIC does cache mirroring, without involving the other CPUs in the controllers #HPtechday
  • @HPStorageGuy: Pd from the product mgmt team said: IOPS on an all-flash array that is down is 0; resiliency is important. #HPTechDay
  • @gallifreyan: RT: Siamak says based on specs, EMC XtremeIO gets 1/4 IOPS per core compared to HP 3PAR. #HPTechDay
  • @bknudtson: #3PAR can definitely set itself apart in the all-flash space based on the completeness of both features and performance #HPTechDay

I could go on with more tweets but I'll leave it there.  Let me know if you have any questions from our Tech Day.
