Introducing ATSB ShortTake: Converged Transceiver

Just over a year ago, I introduced our HP Storage ChalkTalks - you can click on the link to see all the blog posts I have that include a ChalkTalk or you can find them all on my YouTube playlist at hpstorage.me/HPChalkTalks.  Now it's time for another new format - something I'm calling Around the Storage Block ShortTake.

What is an ATSB ShortTake?

I'm asking our experts in HP Storage to record themselves presenting on a topic - could be a product, solution, or program - with a goal of keeping them at 5 minutes or less.  I'll have the audio as a podcast and you can get the slides on our HP B2B SlideShare account.

First ever ShortTake

The first ever ShortTake is a brand new product - a new transceiver.  Normally, a transceiver isn't very exciting but today we're introducing the first converged SAN and LAN transceiver, the HP StoreFabric 16Gb FC/10GbE Converged SFP+.  Instead of telling you all about it here, I'll let you listen to the ShortTake and check out the slides.

 Here's the podcast:

If you rather download this as a podcast, right click here and save the MP3 file. You can also subscribe to my podcast on iTunes - go to the iTunes store and search for "Around the Storage Block" or you can open this link and click on the "View in iTunes" button under my picture.

You can learn more about our storage networking portfolio at hp.com/go/StoreFabric.  Let me know what you think of the ATSB ShortTake and if there's a topic you'd like to see covered.
