It’s not how much storage you have. It’s how much you can do with it.
By Calvin Zito, @HPStorageGuy
On November 1, I'll be hosting a special live webcast. Join David Scott, GM of HP Storage and Chris Evans, storage consultant and industry blogger, and me for what promises to be a great conversation on legacy storage and what modern data centers really need.
Topics to be covered include
- The evolution of storage
- Storage issues plaguing our customers
- How storage vendors need to step up to the plate to design systems that can really meet a customers needs - today and into the future
How to join
On November 1st at 2 PM PST (5 PM EST) sign on to our event URL. Please arrive early so you don’t miss a minute of the discussion. This event is being held via Watchitoo®, a partner I have been using for my HP TechCast. Please join us online.
Event details
When: Thursday, November 1st Time: 2:00-2:30 pm (Pacific) Where: Online via Watchitoo.com. Mark your calendar now.
I've made it easy for you to put this on your calendar - just click the icon below and it will open an .ics file that you can use to save it on your calendar - be sure to check the time is correct. With the changes in daylight savings time around the world, I'd feel better if you confirm the local time it puts on your calendar is correct.
UPDATE: Since the webcast has happened, I removed the .ics link and here is a YouTube replay of the webcast:

Hi,
I am very interested in answers to any/all of the following:
- Latest stat's re FC v's iSCSI and NSF market share.
- How HP is going to position StoreVirtual in the enterprise. What are the potential business benefits?
- Is there a plan to apply the EVA and LeftHand licensing models to the 3PAR solution i.e. all components included regardless of storage capacity?
