Late last week - actually was most of the world's weekend - I had a blog post talking about some new P6000 EVA Performance Advisor demo videos. Today, I have the final two videos in the series that I wanted to share with you.  Here are the videos:

Customizing the Dashboard

Threshold Monitoring with Performance Advisor

On the blog post where I originally talked about Performance Advisor, I got a couple of questions that I thought would be worth answering here.

1. Is Performance Advisor included with Command View (CV) 10.0?

Performance Advisor (PA) does require licensing so while it's included with CV 10.0, you'll need to purchase PA if you want to use it long term.  Also, Command View enables all software features (Business Copy, Thin Provisioning, Performance Advisor, etc.) for 60 days.  This allows time for customers to use their arrays prior to installing licenses.  It also allows customers to try the features during the 60 day period.

2. Can I use PA to set thresholds and create graphs?

Yes, PA can be used to set thresholds and chart performance.  PA will graph several different performance aspects; throughput and latency, etc.

Here's where you can learn more
