Yesterday I had a post talking about the new version of Command View for the P6000 EVA. Shortly after I sent the article out on Twitter, an EVA customer asked me how can an existing customer get the new version of Command View. I got a URL where you can download Command View v10.0 from the HP Software Depot. I added it to the post yesterday but it was at the bottom and I'm guessing many of you missed it. So here's the link you can download Command View v10.0.
I also was reminded that we have a P6000 EVA simulator. It's basically Command View - and so the simulator is a great way for someone not familiar with the EVA or Command View can get a sense of how they work. So if you want don't have an EVA or don't have Command View v10.0 and want to see how they work, download the simulator. The lastest simulator also includes Performance Advisor (PA) - so while the data being used just shows some simple synthetic workloads, you can get a sense of what you can do with PA.
Have a great weekend!
