Taking the virtual route to HP Discover Frankfurt—and big storage news

By Melissa Saegert Elicker, social media editor, HP Storage

luggage.JPGLast Saturday, my bags were packed. I was ready to go. Then life happened. And I spent some time in the emergency room with my husband when I should have been waiting for my flight at the airport. It was nothing really serious. He will be fine. But my plans did change. And heading to Germany was not in the cards.

Part of the reason I was going to Discover was to blog about the storage-focused keynotes and sessions I would be attending. Live and in person. Ah, the best laid plans and all that. . .  The  good news is I can still easily attend many of these same presentations virtually, as can you. So follow along, if you will.

Catch it now: HP Storage Press Conference

Today, HP Storage rolled out its most important announcement in a decade. Simply put, HP is redefining storage simplicity with a single architecture for enterprises of all sizes. It’s a modern storage architecture, designed for the cloud, optimized for big data and built on converged infrastructure.
