X5000 G2 Review by Windows IT Pro
By Calvin Zito, @HPStorageGuy
Late last week, I noticed an article about the X5000 in my Google Alerts - a review of the new X5000 by Windows IT Pro. Since I had written a blog post about those updates to our X5000 a couple of weeks ago, I made a mental note to do a blog post on this. Well, if you know me very well, making mental notes is never is not a good idea. Fortunately, I got another Google Alert pointing to a blog post by Scott Johnson. I've got to know Scott a bit over the last year and had him in the first X5000 blog post (a video) I did from HP Discover in June 2011.
Here are links to the articles I mentioned:
- Scott's blog post "The HP X5520 was reviewed by Windows IT Pro". His blog post points to some good content from Microsoft Tech Ed. That's Scott in the picture with our European X5000 product manager Nina Kuepers.
- Here's a link to the Windows IT Pro article titled, "Review: HP X5520 G2 Storage Server". Of note is this recommendation given in the article, "The HP X5520 G2 is a great choice for businesses looking to add highly available file shares or iSCSI storage to their infrastructure."
- As always, you can learn more about the X5000 on the hp.com product page: www.hp.com/go/X5000
