Virtual desktop announcement leading up to VMworld

vmwareView.pngI'll be leaving for VMworld tomorrow morning but I wanted to give you one last pre-show blog post.  Last week, HP had an announcement about our desktop to data center virtualization portfolio for VMware View.  This isn't an area that I've spent a lot of time on in the past other than looking at our storage for our reference architectures so yesterday I grabbed a couple of experts to help me understand the announcement. 

 

The end result is this podcast with Christian Jones from our thin client team and Dan Nordhues from our converged infrastructure team.  Christian helped me understand our thin client portfolio and Dan discussed the latest reference architectures for VMware View and also vSphere and Citrix.
