Energy optimization with HP ProLiant Gen8
Today I have a podcast focusing on HP ProLiant Gen8. The podcast is with Mike Kendall. Mike manages the team focused on intelligent infrastructure and options for our ProLiant servers. Mike and I discuss some of the innovations in Gen8 specific to automated energy optimization. Sustainable Data Center lab tour for Earth Day and beyond
Today I have a video tour of our new state of the art data center in Ft. Collins, Colorado. A few years ago, HP CIO Randy Mott took on a massive data center consolidation within HP - this data center is also the result of data center consolidation but not for HP IT but our R&D teams across our storage, server, networking, and software businesses.
The data center was built in collaboration with HP Labs and uses advanced sustainable data center technologies.
