Give digital a business focus

Featuring: Scott Robson, Business Solutions Executive, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services

Each customer is different. Some prefer paper, some use email, others want to pick up the phone and talk to you. As an organization, you receive an avalanche of data each day and let’s face it, it can be overwhelming.  As put by PwC, a leading professional services firm –“businesses globally have been rocked to their core by the explosion of the digital economy.”

Many organizations have understood the need to ‘digitize’ but are often perplexed on how to get there. HP’s Scott Robson believes that this procrastination or delay can often prove very expensive to organizations, not to mention losing to Campaign Master Image.jpgcompetitors who have taken the next step. In his viewpoint paper “Give digital a business focus”,  he explains the first steps to developing your document and data strategy:

  • Use a consulting partner to help facilitate disruption
  • Have a view of your inbound and outbound experiences
  • Own your intellectual property
  • Look for ways to provide customer convergence
