It’s BPO, but not as we know it

HP BPO 451 research.jpg“Because the BPO market is beginning to be disrupted by the social, mobile, analytics and cloud (SMAC) stack, the market is once more becoming a serious opportunity for IT service providers that can combine agile techniques and business domain expertise to aggregate and layer new capabilities on top of a customer's existing technology,” says Katy Ring – Research Director for IT Services at 451 Research.

With insights from the sessions and 1-1 meetings at the HP Business Process Services Analyst Event recently held at London, 451 Research published a report on HP Business Process Services (BPS).

Here are a few key highlights from the HP Digital Business Process Services: It's BPO, but not as we know it report.

BPS Edge Finance and Administration – The Triple A’s of Business Growth

FnA ezine 2014 HP BPO.jpg“The world is changing—at an unprecedented speed. Business enterprises have to bring on new partners, expand into new markets, and endure global organizational restructuring often brought about by mergers and acquisitions. Just think, only two of the world’s top 10 biggest public companies that appeared on the Forbes magazine Global 2000 list in 2004, remain there a decade later. But finance and accounting (F&A) should be the one steady, reliable core operation that the business enterprise can depend on throughout periods of change,” – says Arindam Dutta, Head, Asia Pacific & Japan BPS Practice & Delivery, HP; in the latest edition of the BPS Edge Finance and Administration ezine.

Read on to find out what Arindam believes are the Triple A’s of Business Growth.
