Linux Update: HPLIP Updated to Version 3.9.2

A new version (3.9.2) of the HPLIP software (Linux printer driver software) was released on Thursday, February 19th.  The release notes and download location are hosted at the HPLIP website (hplipopensource.com).

running hplip -.8.7 on linux, with xsane...stopped scanning??


does hp know why??

Hi Len,

I don't know off hand.  Support for HPLIP is available from the http://hplipopensource.com site.  I did type in xsane and scanning in the search for KB articles and several came up that MIGHT help you out.  If not you can post comments on the HPLIP site by logging in.  If someone here has an answer for Len, please post and I'll put on in the comments here.  Take care, B.
