One of the trends in enterprise computing is the focus on the end user. So what's different this time around?

User segmentation is not new. What is new is how IT and the business may be considering how to deploy user oriented technology in 2010.

 

During the Great Recession there has been a not so subtle shift in the client technology usage model by end users. Over the years, IT has been reluctant to rely on more of the end user activity in lifecycle management. However, the end user may be the key to reducing costs.
