A lot is written around IT consumerization. Cloud, big data and mobility are three aspects where that consumerization is visible. The three put together are becoming key components of our new informationt technology environment and consumerization is changing the way we interact with them and what we expect. Although cloud computing is not just a new way of delivering existing applications, the question I receive most often is how to move existing applications to the cloud. I'm presenting a pragmatic approach on how to look at which applications to migrate, what you need to understand prior to making the decision where to migrate the application to and what you may have to do to make the application cloud ready.
