HP Discover, the WoW factor
Sitting in Las Vegas airport, ready to fly home, let me share with you my first impressions after those 4 very busy days. Have been extremely busy but it feels rewarding. The quality of the interactions was great, the feedback excellent. Let me share a little more with you.
Software development, can we learn from Manufacturing?
Over the last years, I learned how you can take ideas, concepts, best practices from one industry and apply them in another with great success. Software development has been a craftsmanship for years, could we take some of the base concepts of manufacturing and apply them to software development? It will probably age me, but when I started working, design for manufacturability was big. Could we use some of those concepts to improve DevOps collaboration in the same way we got design and manufacturing engineers to work closely together, getting better products faster to market cheaper?
HP’s Converged Cloud continues to evolve for you
I'm currently at HP Discover in Las Vegas. This morning HP announced the next step in Converged Cloud. What is this all about. I'm trying to highlight the announcement and give you a view of what is now available and how it fits in the vision and strategy.
