I already had the opportunity of describing the vision of converged cloud. As I share this with CIOs, I am increasingly asked to go a little more in details and point out what we are trying to achieve. So, I decided to summarize this in a blog post. And here it is. If you are interested in how we integrate heterogeneous infrastructure, how we support multiple operating systems and hypervisors and how we integrate big data and cloud, I hope you'll find an answer here. You'll also have the opportunity to hear me talking about converged cloud and discussing with Paul Muller and Dana Gardner how information is integrated. And last but not least, you'll get a glimpse of how this works in real life.

Depending on whether the writer is an enthusiast or a sceptic, you'll get very different views. So, how do you understand what cloud computing really means. Paul McFedries, a writer of technology books, took on the challenge, write an easy to understand book giving a non biased description of what cloud is and isn't. Frankly, the result is a must read. So, I asked Paul a couple questions. Here are his answers, and a good deal for you if you wish to buy the book.
