Announcing HP iQuote Universal

iQuote is HP’s cloud service for channel sales configuration & quoting, designed specifically to simplify the process of selling HP products and maximize revenue and margin on every sale.

You may have seen some previous announcements, and I've also done a Coffee Coaching video about it before (see this previous blog entry for the link).

Before today, the only way to access HP iQuote was if your distributor was hosting it.  Well, what if your distributor is not yet offering HP iQuote?  Or what if you recommend IT solutions and the customer purchases directly?   Well then HP iQuote Universal is for you!

Now, any reseller or IT pro can can take advantage of the increased quote accuracy, customer satisfaction, and efficiency that iQuote delivers.  This is initially available only in the U.S. but more countries will be rolling out soon.

HP iQuote Universal includes HP ProLiant Servers as well as HP storage, networking, commercial desktops, laptops and workstations.  Just select a product, configure, export, and send a validated bill-of-materials to your favorite distributor or supplier.  It’s that simple.

Keep in mind that if your distributor is hosting HP iQuote, you can still get even more value from real-time stock & pricing, shopping cart integration, and promotions, so be sure to check their site.
