As our name implies, Clever Ducks delivers clever solutions that help small companies become profitable in their business. With fewer than 15 employees and based in San Luis Obispo, Calif., we're an HP reseller and a Microsoft Gold Partner. Our customers expect us to find the better, faster, and less expensive solution for them.

 

 

The HP ProLiant MicroServer is becoming an extremely popular choice among our customers who don't need a big server and who definitely don't want to pay for anything more than they need—but who also have an eye on growth. I really think that, until now, this segment has been overlooked and underserved. What MicroServer does is offer a hybrid approach for small businesses that are increasingly being serviced through the cloud while also maintaining a lot of their information and data on premise.

 

The thing that's appealing to me about the MicroServer is that it's non-threatening looking, which could help with small-business customers who are afraid of technology. And yet it still gives small businesses a wealth of capabilities at an affordable price point. It gives them the toys and bells and whistles the big boys have always had.
