With regards to products, the ProLiant MicroServer is a new form factor available to reach smaller customers and provide lower touch IT solutions. HP Smart Bundles are essential configurations of servers, storage, networking and software targeted at those exact reasons for using virtualization in SMB IT.  We leverage the same products, knowledge and the extensive testing of our enterprise solutions teams, but create configurations optimized for delivery by SMB channel partners. Greg Starks, SMB Solutions Product Manager for ISS at HP,  provides an overview about Smart Bundles in a two part series.

HP iQuote is an HP-centric sales quotation platform that streamlines the process of creating fast and accurate quotes on HP servers, storage and even client products that reflects real-time stock, price and promotions.  iQuote was developed exclusively for the worldwide HP channel partner community through an agreement with channelcentral.net, a company that specializes in offering channel solutions.  Greg Starks provides an overview of iQuote in this video.

 

 

 

iQuote has been in operation in Europe for a while, but is now being made available worldwide for all HP authorized distributors to offer to their reseller customer base.
