5 Infrastructure Management Problems Resolved with 1 Solution: HP OneView

I talked to several converged infrastructure colleagues to bring you the latest thinking on how an improved management solution can help you work smarter and more efficiently. Here’s a peek behind the curtain to show you how much better today’s IT tools can be.

Let’s start with the IT environment.   Not only is data growth projected to grow by a factor of 6x but IT is also concurrently deploying new technologies to handle cloud, big data, mobile and more.   This is all being done while the demand to balance IT spend within budget constraints remains a top priority.   This raises a question on infrastructure management.   How do today’s tools handle this IT reality?

First, today’s infrastructure management tools have 5 major problems:

  1. Obsolete interfaces
  2. Offline communication  (think sticky notes, excel spreadsheets)
  3. Tools that run in silos
  4. Different teams use different tools
  5. Manual processes

Get the picture?   See the A Day in the IT Gap infographic

HP announced recently an infrastructure management software platform designed for the way you work to solve these problems -- Meet HP OneView .   See how easily you can work with a tool that was designed for collaboration and simplifies and automates processes, all in one tool.   Want to hear more, see the HP OneView Demo and see for yourself.

The HP OneView infographic really highlights the challenges IT managers and datacenters face in an arctic infastructure management world.  I will do more research on HP OneView and how it can help me manage my environment in a more seamless way.
