Converged Infrastructure
Drive the New Style of IT with HP Converged Infrastructure. Old networking, storage, servers and security silos come together into a simply-managed, business-oriented datacenter.

Are you ready to exploit the value of convergence? Attend HP Discover and learn how.

Let the HP Discover planning begin ...

I suspect many of you are attending HP Discover to get a strong-hold on your convergence deployments, become better informed on cloud solutions, kick the tires and light the fire on HP ConvergedSystem, poke around the Software-Defined movement, and better understand how HP Converged Infrastructure can optimize all this to enhance your operations.

So how will this – and future blog posts – help you?

Over the coming weeks leading up to HP Discover, I will post several blogs to help you optimize and maximize your time with recommendations on sessions and innovation breakouts to attend (AND WHY), demos to check-out, and other relevant topics to round it all out.

But first things first: ARE YOU REGISTERED?

Do you need help rationalizing your attendance? Let me give you a few reasons to think about:

  • Remind your manager how the megatrends in cloud, Big Data, mobility, and security are unruly and need to be addressed, now. Otherwise you're falling behind.
  • How server workloads are increasing, network bandwidth is growing, storage capacity is expanding.
  • How power costs are going up and up.
  • How complexity is constantly increasing with too many systems, tools, and processes.
  • And with the speed of today’s business only widening the gap between what your business needs and IT can deliver – YOU NEED HELP.

The solution to all this is IT convergence. But don’t take my word for it; leading analysts agree that convergence is not only inevitable but it is in fact here:

  • According to a Forrester survey, 88% of enterprises already have or are planning to implement a converged infrastructure.* Are you one of them and need help?
  • IDC states that it’s the next IT cycle: Convergence reigns for the next 10 years.**
  • According to Gartner, by 2015 one-third of all servers will ship as managed resources integrated in a converged infrastructure.”*** In other words, do you know what best ConvergedSystem to deploy?

And if you few more rationales of why you need to attend Discover, pull out the big guns:

  • Discover is the ultimate technology event with thousands of IT professionals coming together to learn, connect, and grow personally. What better way to invest in your company by seeing the latest advancements from HP.
  • Learn about the HP vision, strategy, and the technology plans for Cloud, Security, Big Data, and Mobility – just think how this will help your organization.
  • Receive first-hand exposure to HP's entire portfolio of products, solutions, and services.
  • Take advantage of the event and meet up 1000s of technology experts and business leaders.
  • Access over 500 technology sessions that will help your organization achieve its IT objectives and help grow your business.
  • As part of your registration fee, you can receive up to $5K in training to add to your overall value to the organization.
  • You can exchange ideas (or take a few from others), sharpen your technical skills and hear best practices.

I hope this helps get the ball rolling as you plan for HP Discover. My next blog post will help you build out your convergence agenda with recommended sessions to attend and why.

Hope to see you at Discover.

Thanks,

Russ
