See how technologies like the new HP ProLiant Gen8 servers are influencing future designs. Technical overview of HP VirtualSystem solution for Microsoft

Description - HP VirtualSystem for Microsoft is a turn-key solution for deploying Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platform. The VirtualSystem family is the result of a collaboration between HP and Microsoft to bring the best platform for virtualizing your Microsoft workloads. The session gives an overview of the VirtualSystem portfolio, the design approaches for the solution, and will demonstrate the integrated management of Insight Control for System Center 2012.

 

How to create a high-performance client virtualization environment

Description - This session will delve into the technical features of current VirtualSystem CV2 architectures, new ProLiant Gen8 reference architecture sizing and performance as well future client virtualization solutions. Build your own application service automation with HP Cloud Maps

Campbell’s prior appointments were vice president of marketing for Adaptive Infrastructure and prior to that, the vice president of marketing for HP StorageWorks. He was responsible for advancing the market position of HP’s storage area network, network-attached storage, information life cycle management, near-line and storage management software offerings through both direct and indirect channels for small, midsize and enterprise customers. Prior to joining the HP StorageWorks team, Campbell was vice president of marketing and business development for First Virtual Communications, a world leader in providing easy-to-use, integrated rich media communications solutions. Before that, he was the principal and a founding member of Adjunct Consulting, where he helped incubate a SAN-management-over-IP startup and developed transformational business strategies for his other client companies. Campbell was formerly with HP from 1986 to 2001 in various marketing director roles spanning workstations, software, networking, PC servers and Intel servers. He also served as worldwide director of marketing for channels, alliances and partners.
