A new, innovative, cost-effective and scalable storage solution from HP Converged Systems

By Michael St-Jean – HP Converged Systems

As a result of the proliferation of unstructured data growth, HP and Red Hat are introducing an innovative solution that provides a cost-effective scalable storage solution; the HP Converged Systems RA for Red Hat Storage on HP ProLiant SL4540 Gen8 Server. HP and Red Hat provide a purpose-built, scale-out solution to meet your datacenter challenges of reducing space, energy consumption and deployment time to support scalable data growth quickly and easily.

The HP ProLiant SL4500 Gen 8 Storage Server running Red Hat Storage Server will take scalability to a whole new level of volume economics to effectively store and manage petabyte-scale data growth.

A fresh approach to Converged Infrastructure management has arrived

By Jeff Carlat – Director, Product Management, HP Converged Systems

Today is a great day.

Today we announced the next generation of Converged Infrastructure management, named HP OneView.

HP OneView is a totally new infrastructure management platform that will simplify the most common steps underlying all data center processes, allowing IT teams to dramatically accelerate operations, reduce costs, risk and downtime.

Whoever says management software can’t be as collaborative & user-friendly as Facebook is wrong!

Just about every smartphone app I’ve ever used has a friendly user interface that makes it simple for me to do what I want to do, whether it’s keeping up with friends or checking mortgage rates (we’re looking to purchase a house). What if that same ease of use was available when managing your data center?
