HP Discover Frankfurt 2012 Day 2: Converged Cloud and EliteBook Revolve

(This article was posted by Michael Thacker, Global Media Relations, HP)

Innovation is alive and well at HP and today at HP Discover Frankfurt we announced new products and services that reinforce our strong culture of engineering innovation and dedication to meeting our customer’s needs by providing flexible, holistic solutions; just a couple of the imperatives for success outlined by HP’s leadership team during October’s Securities Analyst Meeting.

Today’s introduction of the EliteBook Revolve demonstrates how HP continues to seek out, and deliver on, opportunities in mobility and forge new ground in form factors. This exciting next-generation tablet offers busy enterprise users the best of both worlds – an ultrathin notebook and a touch-enabled tablet. It also boots up in about five milliseconds and comes fully loaded with an HD camera and array of ports for maximum productivity. Employees get the features they want without sacrificing the enterprise services and protection required by the IT department.

Along that same vein of satisfying customer needs, new research on behalf of HP found that 75 percent of executives want solutions that span traditional, private, managed and public cloud environments. In response, HP today extended its Converged Cloud portfolio to help enterprises drive agility, speed innovation and lower costs. New and enhanced solutions, including HP CloudSystem, HP Cloud Service Automation 3.1, HP Continuous Delivery Automation 1.1, HP Cloud Services, such as the general availability of HP Cloud Compute, and HP Cloud Solutions for Communication Service Providers, will enable customers to more affordably and easily take advantage of the cloud without jeopardizing enterprise requirements.

At HP our customers are number one. And as evidenced by our announcements today, we are committed to being a partner that delivers innovative solutions to address real-world challenges and further our customers’ success.
