HP Labs, HP and Columbia University win Revenue Management and Pricing Section Practice Award

A team of researchers and practitioners from HP Labs, HP and Columbia University has been honored by the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) with the 2012 INFORMS Revenue Management and Pricing Section Practice Award.  The award was in recognition of their initiative "Data Driven Market Pricing and Portfolio Management."


The accolade recognizes outstanding applications of revenue management and pricing techniques, and the winner is selected based on the impact, originality, and technical merit of the solution presented.


The winning team was composed of researchers from HP Labs’ Information Analytics Lab and Columbia University and practitioners from HP’s Printing and Personal Systems Group, tackling a real-world challenge faced by HP’s product divisions.
