The technology landscape is changing quickly with the move to cloud computing. Today, Cloud Network of Women (CloudNOW) announced its Top Women in Cloud Awards honorees. HP’s Jamie Erbes was recognized among fellow honorees in the inaugural Top Women in Cloud Awards for her contributions, accomplishments and thought-leadership in this dynamic field.
As the Director of Services Research in HP Labs, Jamie Erbes and her team are responsible for research and development of new technologies that will help HP and its customers make the most of a future in which we see “Everything-as-a-Service” (EaaS).
With EaaS a wide range of cloud services — from business to entertainment to community — will be personalized and context aware to create a more valuable user experiences. HP’s Services Research Lab, under the leadership of Jamie, is working to lead this industry shift. New services will reach data from devices or sensors on the edge of the cloud and couple it with data at the center of the cloud.
