Cybersecurity "Progress & Best Practices"

By Scott Sullivan, Enterprise Services & USPS Marketing

The most effective and efficient cybersecurity program involves understanding the security posture of an organization and its risk tolerance. Once that is achieved, a broad, integrated program must be developed to protect the most important data, intellectual property, business/mission processes and capabilities.

HP Enterprise Services has the solutions and capabilities that address every aspect around the critical issue of cybersecurity throughout the U.S. government.  HP provides full situational awareness of an entire network, inside and out, with fundamental software assurance capabilities, identity management capabilities, large-scale analytics and databasing.

Al Kinney from HP’s U.S. Public Sector Cybersecurity team participated in a panel discussion showcasing the positive work being done and planned throughout the Federal Government Market. Kinney and other subject matter experts from government and industry discussed government cybersecurity priorities for the upcoming year, key challenges to securing cyberspace, key opportunities for areas of collaboration across government and how public-private partnerships are key to helping solve mission programs.
