HP Discover: Recovery-as-a-service: “What happens following a disaster?” presentation
Blog written by Rick LaCoume, Global Sales and Martket Readiness
Have you thought about what could happen to your business if a natural disaster or accident were to occur at your data center? For all Enterprises, the fear of losing data to a natural disaster or an accident in the data center is a real fear, and to be brutally honest, most enterprises are not equipped to handle such an event. If you are you looking for a session where you can better prepare your plan for a disaster, without getting blasted with power point slides then you must attend George Ferguson’s “Recovery-as-a-service: What happens following a disaster?” presentation Tuesday, June 5th 1pm – 1:20pm and Wednesday, June 6th at 1pm – 1:20pm located at DT3017.
In this dramatic 20 minute presentation George will take you on a journey from the time before a disaster occurs, through the disaster (using real video of a flooded data center), and how HP Enterprise Services can step-by-step have your complex end user critical applications up in running in about one hour instead of days or weeks.
I highly recommend all in attendance at HP Discover to attend George’s presentation, it will be eye opening!
If you have any questions for George or specific items please leave a comment.
