Hilton Worldwide delivers premium guest experience with HP ePrint

017P6863_iP.jpgAs a former road-warrior, Hilton hotels were among my preferred places to stay for a variety of reasons.  I don’t travel so much anymore.  But, for those of you that do you may be interested in knowing that Hilton was an early adopter of mobile print capabilities and offers this as a free service to guests.

It’s all part of our continuing effort to bring innovative solutions to our guests to support the ultimate guest experience,” says Jeff Fox, director, brand and guest technology, Hilton Worldwide.  “We’re working to deliver the best possible mobile print service by making all our business centers HP ePrint Public Print Locations.”  Hilton Worldwide first offered mobile printing to guests at its Hilton Garden Inn and Embassy Suites locations;  now it is broadening that offering to its other brands.

Mobile printing was envisioned first as a convenience for executives and road warriors.  “The idea was to help mobile executives with convenient printing while they are guests at our properties,” Fox says.  “We recognize that our guests all have a need to print documents from time to time when they’re traveling, and by partnering with leaders in technology we’re able to give our guests the best possible service.”  Guests can make use of the service while on the go.  For example, a business traveler may print documents to the Hilton location where a reservation is held while riding in a taxi en route to the airport, or from the airport lounge.

Using the Hilton model as an example of how new applications and innovative ideas can improve customer experience, there are a couple of takeaways that are worth your consideration –

1.  If you stay at Hilton Hotels and have a need to print while on-the-go you now know that many of their properties offer this free service to guests.

2.  You can print with the HP ePrint Service App to thousands of public print locations such as Hilton hotels, print and copy retail stores, airport lounges, and more.  Download the free app here.

3.  Depending on the nature of your business, you may want to consider becoming a Public Print Location.  For example, for a retail business the ePrint service directory could help customers find your business and increase foot traffic.  Learn more about becoming an HP ePrint Public Print Location here.
