Resolutions and Enterprise IT Trends for 2014

In 2013, new business environments, consumer technology trends, security breaches and more caused enterprises started to recognize a need for a New Style of IT. Now the question looms: What’s in store for 2014, and how do companies prepare?

Enter HP thought leaders: E.G. Nadhan (@NadhanAtHP), Distinguished Technologist, Cloud Advisor and top social influencer for Big Data, Rob Russo (@R3Cloudman), HP Cloud PoC Manager and Business Development Manager, and Shelli Coffin (who tweeted using @HP_ITO), of the HP Virtual Private Cloud team. These powerhouse influencers answered tough questions from Enterprise Services PR Lead Annabelle Baxter (@annabelletx), exchanging industry analysis and insight with key industry mavens and consultants.

Some memorable moments from the chat:

In response to the question “What are some of the big IT trends enterprises will need to address in 2014?” Sean Kerner (IT consultant and writer for eWEEK), E.G. Nadhan (HP Distinguished Technologist), and Luigi Tiano (Senior IT Professional Blogger & Co-Founder @1cloudroad.com ) tweeted:

Another question Annabelle posed was: “What impact will the rest of the C-suite (CFO, CMO, CSO, etc.) have on enterprise IT trends this year?” Key responses from Chris Preimesberger (Editor, Features & Analysis at eWEEK) and Rob Russo (HP Cloud Expert).
