Jake Ludington talks with HP Fellow Charlie Bess at the Pathways to Cloud Road Show in Dallas, TX, about HP's public cloud computing offerings and how they fit with other HP offerings.

 

When you look at all the data that surrounds us and how quickly it’s growing – 50 percent per month! – it’s no wonder so many organizations are having a hard time figuring out what to do with it and how to manage it.

 

FRC allows students to start from a standard kit of parts and some state of the art robotics controllers and software tools, received at the kickoff back in January, and build a robot attempting to meet specified objectives.

The end customer is defining the nature of their interactions whether buying, for customer care, or for product support.  And that interaction is of value – it is no longer something just to be handed off to be dealt with at lowest possible cost – it impacts future business performance and global reputation.

 

HP Enterprise Services for SAP was named the “Winner” for the 2012 Run SAP Partner of the Year Pinnacle Award!  Additionally, the HP Enterprise Services SAP Teams have also been named as finalists in the “Global Technology Partner of the Year” and “Global Software Solution Partner of the Year” categories!

 

Last night I was part of a discussion with a group of people about “cloud”. We were discussing if it was a threat to IT organizations or an opportunity. The answer we settled on was that it depends on who you are talking with and what their issues are.

This past weekend I participated on a panel at the ECEDHA Conference going on in Austin this week. The panel I was on (that HP sponsored) was focused on the needs of industry and the intersection with education in the electrical and computer engineering fields.
