SiliconAngle's The Cube Discusses Airlines and the Cloud with HP's Brian Cook
Brian Cook, vice president and general manager, travel and transportation industry for HP Enterprise Services, sat down with the hosts of The Cube at HP Discover. The great conversation that ensued provides great insight on the unique challenges that airlines face. Brian Cook discussed how HP leverages more than 20 years of airline industry experience to help 200 airlines around the world process more than 500 million passengers a year.
The Cube hosts Dave Vellante and Jeffrey Kelly also discussed with Brian why cloud computing is particularly compelling for the challenges the airline industry faces. And, of course, a big part of the conversation revolved around HP's announcement of its Converged Cloud Services for Airlines, and why the enterprise service group is uniquely positioned to help bring airline clients to the cloud.
