Prepare for the Age of the Customer

124579-Consumer__Spri_selected-pages.pngYour customers, both businesses and consumers, want things faster, better, cheaper, and with a higher degree of service. If you can’t give it to them, someone else can. Fortunately, technology makes it easier for you to know what they want and deliver it. More customer engagement across business activities ultimately results in a better customer experience. This is the age of the customer.

For good measure, Helen also captured the responses of the same poll questions from HP CEO Meg Whitman. In this post, we summarize both articles, and direct you to the Business Value Exchange.

Forecasting better Oil & Gas Results

Improved forecasting improves results, and can help increase production rates and optimize costs.  The science of forecasting cuts across multiple disciplines and industries, and requires an understanding of how to determine the difference between causality and correlation.  Knowing how to properly capture, analyze, and use this data makes the difference between using forecasts successfully and impacting business performance due to poor forecasts.
