Santiago, Chile—Differentiation through innovation is a way of life for Chile’s third-largest bank, Banco de Crédito e Inversiones (Bci). Emblazoned with bright, primary colors and surrounded by colorful 3D characters, their motto proclaims: “Somos diferentes” – “We’re different.” And so they are.
However, the differentiation is much deeper than a clever marketing scheme. Being different is clearly how Bci operates on a daily basis and that shows up in surprising corners.
We’re here at Bci’s Innovation offices in downtown Santiago, Chile to produce a set of video case studies on the successes that the bank has enjoyed while working with HP over the past 8 years. One of the great things about working in the services business is that our success as a vendor is really defined by the client’s success. So we have the privilege of supporting and promoting the successes that our clients achieve with ingenuity, innovation, and technology, every day.
The 2011 earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand had a devastating impact on the area and resulted in significant loss of life. The central business district was destroyed and over 1,200 buildings were demolished. During this time, our HP employees focused on getting our customers up and running including Meridian, one of the major providers for electricity to the area. Watch the video to learn more.
