Did you know that 1.9 million people die annually from eating contaminated food or drinking contaminated water? So, how can technology help? In 2008 the food and grocery industries asked GS1 to help make the food recall process more efficient. Working with HP, GS1 implemented a cloud-based system to help speed to the process.
