A Trip to the Emergency Room with a Digital Hospital Spin
There’s a fun “feature” in the latest issue of the HP Industry Edge: Health and Life Sciences Digital Hospital Special Edition that takes you through an emergency room experience for a lady named Tina and an urgent care clinic experiencefor a man names Henri.
Both events are timed and show healthcare through the digital hospital experience, complete with electronic health records (EHRs), video consults with experts and automatic mobile alerts to keep the doctor’s informed.
Oklahoma Health Care Authority automates Medicaid enrollment
State governments that administer Medicaid are often in reactive mode, barely able to keep up with the demand for enrollment applications. With the help of HP Enterprise Services, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) was able to create an online enrollment system called SoonerCare. HP was contracted to design, develop and implement a new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), which would allow for online enrollment.
