Managed Print Services helps General Mills redirect resources to growth and innovation

Yesterday, at HP’s annual global Imaging and Printing Conference several new product innovations, new partnerships, apps and solutions were announced.  One interesting data point is that customer adoption of its cloud-enabled, web-connected print technologies has reached the mainstream, with more than 10 million printers sold to date.  However, one of the storylines that really got my attention was a case study about how General Mills has reduced imaging and printing costs 50% with HP Managed Print Services, saving $1.1 million annually.  There’s a lot that can be learned and leveraged from the General Mills strategy.
