When I meet with my financial planner, he poses me questions about my risk tolerance, short-term and long-term goals, planned expenses, etc. He does not address specific areas of investments like stocks, bonds, annuities,etc. I like that. It is easy for me to speak in terms I can relate to while he executes the physical actions that have the potential to realize my short-term and long-term financial goals.
